I already paid for the food. Not my job to cover their payroll. Just hike the menu prices and pay a real wage. Average service gets nothing from me.
Tipping is a guilt scam so owners can underpay staff

The ipad asking for 25% after someone hands you a muffin is a grift. Table service is earned. Just admit you’re poor

You say hike menu prices, so you're fine paying more as long as it's mandatory. Sounds like you mostly enjoy the loophole that lets you cheap out.

A lot of servers would fight this because they make way more on tips than they'd get from whatever "real wage" the restaurant settles on. An occasional jerk like you doesn't change anything.

Congrats, you just made one employee fund your little protest. Stiffing the server doesn't pressure the owner. The owner still got paid.

And then they'll complain to their boss and maybe the boss will pay them more. That's on the boss
Share
You can complain to the boss yourself before ordering. Weird you have to punish someone else because you lack courage.

Stiffing one person and expecting them to sue their boss over your table is disgusting
Share
why would the boss care? they got full price and you got served. the only person who lost money was the server. your protest is basically invisible to management lol

They're not gonna raise wages cause one table stiffed a server.
