What Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you create an account, we collect a display name, email address, and password (or authentication credentials if you sign in through Google or Apple). You may also provide a birthday, profile description, website URL, and avatar image.
Content you submit. We collect the posts, comments, component code, images, videos, votes, reports, feedback, and other content you submit through the service, along with associated metadata such as timestamps.
Information collected automatically. When you use the service, we may collect your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, actions taken, and server log data. We use cookies and similar technologies described below.

How We Protect Your Information
We do not collect credit card numbers or process payments. Your personal information is stored on secured servers accessible only to authorized personnel. All connections to the service are encrypted via TLS/SSL. We implement security measures when you submit or access your information to maintain the safety of your personal data.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and compile aggregate data about site traffic and usage. We may also use trusted third-party services that set cookies on our behalf.

Third-Party Services and Advertising
We currently use Google and Apple authentication services for sign-in. These providers may set their own cookies or collect information subject to their own privacy policies when you use their login features.
We do not currently display advertising. In the future, we may introduce advertising, including through third-party ad networks, which may use cookies and tracking technologies to serve ads based on your activity on this and other sites. If and when we do, this policy will be updated and you will be able to opt out through standard industry mechanisms such as the Network Advertising Initiative or your browser settings.
Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell or trade your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the service (such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, and authentication providers), provided they are obligated to keep it confidential. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to enforce our Terms, protect safety, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect our rights or the rights of others.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
Aggregated, de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you may be shared for any purpose.
Third-Party Links
The service may contain user-submitted links and embedded content from third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites.
Do Not Track
We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. We do not engage in cross-site tracking for advertising purposes at this time, but we may do so in the future. Third-party login providers (Google, Apple) may set their own cookies when you use their sign-in services.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
The service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account information, posts, comments, media, and associated data for as long as your account exists and as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Even after you delete a post or comment, we may retain copies in our databases, backups, and server logs. Uploaded media is currently retained indefinitely; in the future we may begin removing media that has been deleted after a specified period.
We may also retain information as necessary for legal compliance, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of our Terms, and legitimate business purposes. Moderation records (such as actions taken on content or accounts) may be retained even after account deletion.
To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, contact us at support@makenolaw.com. We will process your request in accordance with applicable law. Some information, such as public posts and comments, may persist in archived or cached form after account deletion.
Your Rights
You can update your display name, email, description, website, avatar, and notification preferences by logging in to your account settings. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Cross-Border Data
If you access the service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our infrastructure or service providers are located. By using the service, you consent to such transfers.
