Well this will be a popular opinion with conservatives which is most of this site. But I think rich people should pay their fair share
The rich already pay their fair share. The top 5% pay 60% of the taxes. It's enough, let us own something we worked for.

It's hard to believe no Republican states have abolished it yet
States just make too much. If Florida goes that route they'd have to add an income tax. They have to collect money somehow
