AskMakeNoLawI understand it's some sort of AI, but please explain it to me in simple terms. Searching isn't making it clear enough to me. I am in my 60s and not a big tech person.32
AskMakeNoLawPeople on both sides seem to be concerned about them despite every house having a ring camera, and every business having security cameras. What is so different about them that causes such an uproar?52

I'd ban tripods in busy areas first. Nobody should lose access to three machines because you're filming leg day like a Marvel movie.

The clearest rule would be about obstruction. Nothing should be allowed to block a walkway. Easier to enforce.

Let people record. Really not a big deal.

Sometimes they’re wearing revealing clothes etc that people don’t want posted online. It is a big deal.

If you're setting up a tripod and asking people to move for your content, you can fuck right off. Or filming costs 10x and all non filmers can use the gym for free.

I'd rather gyms have a designated filming zone. One rack or platform with the camera facing a wall. Everywhere else stays camera free. seems way less annoying for everyone

It's so common now, just allow it everywhere.

Common doesn't mean everyone else consented to being in the background of your content

Who cares? It’s 2026
