Its terrible pay for a reason. It should motivate you to work harder, not beg for the government to raise your wage. If youre 28 still bagging fries and mad about rent thats on you.

Many people can’t afford college, and have to work several of these jobs to make ends meet. They never have a chance to level up

You can move up without college tho. Certifications, promotions, switching employers. Sales doesn't require much experience, just grit.
