If the only safeguard after 24 weeks is to trust the doctor then there really isn't a safeguard in the law anymore. We’ve seen how doctors butcher innocent children.
Yeah the old law already allowed abortions after 24 weeks for medical emergencies. That was what trusting the doctor should have meant. Now it's basically any reason.
