Unpopular OpinionWe are witnessing it on it's last legs. People are waking up. It will only exist for as long as countries can suppress free speech, which is ending with the internet.84

Free SpeechWhile I was in an uber last night in NYC, I saw a girl walking on the sidewalk. She constantly looked over her shoulder, making sure she was safe and there were no homeless or stalkers. At first I thought “good for her”. Then I realized, this is just Mamdanis NYC. You can get stabbed on any street. You can get shot on any street. No matter how many police are around. Mamdani cares more about protecting a certain race of a criminal than your life.193

They can do whatever they want. Free country. Live somewhere cheaper if a calculator bothers you that much.

Only with real transparency and antitrust oversight. Ten landlords implementing the same price looks a lot like price fixing. Put em in jail.

Transparency should include telling tenants when software set the price and what data it used.

Sure? You want to limit landlords ability to use a computer?

No.. a landlord using a spreadsheet is fine duh. But when the software recommends leaving units empty rather than lowering rent we have a problem.

The issue is indirect collusion by using the same service to create prices. No one gives a rats ass about google docs
