Free SpeechEvery time they bump it, small stores cut hours or stop hiring. Then everyone acts surprised when those same people can't get a job. Not to mention it directly causes inflation when they have to raise prices to pay their employees more.20

AskMakeNoLawAnd where would you draw the line between a landlord and an investment company?25
Unpopular OpinionSpend four years and pile on debt just to end up in some dead end office or serving coffee. Learn a real trade or run a machine instead. Youre earning decent money by 22 with zero loans hanging over you. Half those degrees teach nothing you can actually use on the job.165
Unpopular OpinionFreeze the rent and nobody bothers fixing the place. 5 years later and all the appliances are breaking, paint is peeling off, and you get mold infestations. Everyone is equal, but equally shitty.56

Lol wtf. No, he wants to end private property. There are already many laws restricting landlords. I'd be fine with this but communism is not the answer

Would be nice but not needed. As of now it's pretty close unless they try charging amenity fees. Even then the total exta will be like a max of $50-$100 per month
Share
$100 a month is $1,200 a year. That's a significant amount of money

Its really not. Just work a little bit harder and you’ll be ok
