This is a look into how likely a player is to earn an all star selection based on their draft position in the lottery era (1985 - present). As expected, players drafted earlier are more likely to play in an all star game: The biggest takes from this are that the #1 pick is far more likely to be an all star than the rest, and that the #8 pick is the second worst pick in the lottery. It's also intersting that the #3 pick is second most likely to be an all star. Will this eventually even out? Only time will tell.21

Toronto did what the had to do, and now they hold the keys even if Klay and Durant come back. Fred Vanvleet has been spectacular recently, even though he only had 11 points this game.
