ahahaha "68k in a concentration camp". The detention centers are probably better than their real life living conditions.

"their lives probably sucked anyway" is a fucking deranged excuse for locking up 68 thousand people. jesus christ, listen to yourself

And we're suppose to pretend this is normal. Mass detention on an industrial scale. Shameful as hell

Calling them a "concentration camp" is ridiculous. These are people being held for illegally entering the country while their cases are processed. It's all legal and there's zero proof of anything wrong with them. Throwing around Holocaust language is deplorable.

The article says alleged immigration violations including visa overstay. So no it's not simply 68k people caught crossing illegally. And It is a concentration camp

Immigration detention is civil, and many detainees have no criminal conviction. Calling the custody legal doesn't prove the conditions are acceptable. "Zero proof of anything wrong" is especially flimsy when oversight and inspections are being reduced.

68k is a huge number and conditions should be monitored hard. But calling every immigration detention center a "concentration camp" is cheap emotional bait. People can oppose mass detention without turning the headline into Holocaust cosplay.
